Spoiler Alert: Marie Claire’s The Parcel Review

Hello there Suburban Fashionistas!

I received a new subscription box today: Marie Claire’s The Parcel.

What is the Parcel?

“Curated by our beauty editors, The Parcel by marie claire is a luxury beauty box containing deluxe samples and new releases from leading beauty brands delivered direct to your door four times a year.”

Choose from a single box for $25 or a yearly subscription for $90 and get a seasonal box delivered to your home 4 times a year.

I chose a yearly subscription and it is GREAT!

The packaging is fab and stylish. The address is printed on the outer sleeve. Very professional looking and very much like a Marie Claire magazine cover.

Inside, everything was carefully wrapped in black tissue, with a little pamphlet on top with descriptions of everything inside.
So what is in it?
Unlike some other subscription boxes it is no secret what is inside. It is listed on the website and there are several reviews to be looked at, and personally I think that is a little disappointing. Sort of spoils the surprise.
Here it is.
1.  A full-sized Gwen Stefani by O.P.I Nail Lacquer $ 19.95  “Desperately seeking Sequins”
2. A full-sized Revlon ColourStay Moisture Stain $25.95 “Rio Rush”
3. A purse-size L’Oreal Paris Elnett Statin Hairspray $$4.95
4. Travel Size Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal, Shampoo and Conditioner $4.99 each
4. A deluxe sample of Benefit They’re Real! Mascara
Great value for $22.50 per box!

I am very happy with this box. It so happens I have just run out of my Benefit They’re Real Push Up liner, and now I have a back up until I get around to buying another one.
What do you think?
Let me know,

  1. Really you finished your benefit liner already? That was quick!

    1. Yes it is quick, now I come to think about it. Makes it very expensive really. But it stays put and I think that will benefit me (excuse the pun) in Summer. In the meantime i will use my good old cheapo ELF liner. x
