Where I went this weekend – Terrigal, Central Coast, NSW

Ahhhh. Girly weekends. Such fun!

There were to be 6 of us, but there ended up being 5. A weekend of shopping, eating, drinking, talking and laughing so hard your head and belly hurts.

We stayed at the beautiful Star of the Sea Resort,  5 star apartments overlooking lush gardens and the ocean.

I had stayed there a few years ago for another girly weekend to celebrate a friends 40th birthday. This time we celebrated another birthday, but really, it was a great excuse just to have a mid year break and to catch up.

The views are spectacular.

The shopping is FABULOUS too.

Here are some of my favourites:

Industrial Thread – 94 Terrigal Esplanade, Terrigal

Virginia Gadd, is the owner and has exquisite taste.

She is an interior  designer, so her store is a wonderful fusion of decorative goodies as well as mens and womens fashion.

She also gave us some great tips of where to go to eat and party.

Thanks Virginia!

Designer Forum is just next door.

The store is not exclusive to Terrigal, but I have always admired their stores throughout Sydney.

Stocking my favourite big name brands like Samantha Wills jewellery, Bassike, Sass and Bide, Camilla and Senso, I could have spent an absolute mint in there.

But I was a good girl.

There were some great homeware stores, too many to pick, but these were my favourites:

Now this was a gem! Melli Cosmetics where I had my very own custom, bespoke foundation mixed to suit my skin! But more about that soon!

What a great time we had.

Too much wine, too much food, not enough time.

My girlfriends, I love you, let’s do it all again soon. xoxoxo

Til next time,
