Three ways to wear a pleated skirt!

One of the biggest Winter trends this year, is one I took to surprisingly easily. I always thought I was too hippy and short to wear pleated skirts, but I changed my mind, and really, who cares. Just wear what you want.

However, the Evie Pleated Skirt from Saba at Westfield Miranda caught my eye because:

  1. It is khaki (one of my fave colours after black)
  2. The pleats do not go all the way to the waistband making the skirt sit quite flat against the hips
  3. It consists of a soft floaty fabric, making it not so bulky even when tucking in a shirt or jumper.
  4. It has an asymmetric hemline!

As some of you may know, when I fall in love with something,   in my mind I make 3 different outfits with the new piece using what I have in my own wardrobe. If I can, only then, it comes home with me.

So I styled it 3 ways, casual with sneakers, semi casual with sock boots and a jumper and an evening look as well.

Now I am totally hooked. I might just have to invest in another skirt, a metallic one perhaps? (see the Witchery skirt that nearly came home with me)

What do you think? Do you like this trend?
