Lately I have been swapping my leopard print for snake print, the colours are usually a little more subtle and softer. Don’t get me wrong, my favourite print will never retire, it is just on a little holiday and will come back lovely and refreshed.
I picked up a sheer snake print shirt from a chain store called Cinch, I believe Tattoo is the same store. I just really liked the colours and I don’t think I paid more than $40 for it. I would have liked it to have been a tad longer – I like the top of my thighs covered – but I work around that with wearing a long line/dress singlet underneath. Problem solved! A larger shirt like this can make me look a bit matronly, my larger breasted Fashionista Friends will know what I am talking about, but because the shirt is sheer, I think it works ok. As long as the bottom half is streamlined, none will even think middle age mumma! Another lovely feature is that it has straps with a small button to hold up rolled sleeves or leave them down in a slight flared shape.
This shirt is not available online at time of publishing, so maybe call into your local Cinch store and ask about it. Find similar at Witchery HERE, or a cute tee HERE
Also wearing THE BEST jeggings every, by Rockmans [kindly gifted]. The ones I am wearing are the biker jeggings and they are great. The waist is not too low, easy pull on pants, and they have great stitching on the knees. Available in 3 colours, buy them HERE (just make sure you go a size smaller)
I like this trend, I already own a few pieces in this print. As with leopard print, the key is to have ONE piece on only.

I can feel some more coming, have my eye on a cute snake skin skirt from Witchery! But that is for next payday…
Til next time,
I haven’t worn snakeskin print since this episode: http://www.almostposh.com/2014/10/throwback-thursday-6-snakeskin-pants.html but you are killing it! You’re right, I do always feel more comfortable in a more sheer shirt to avoid that bustline bulk.
