Product Review – Lip Monthly Subscription September, October and November

Well hello there!

I don’t know about you, Fashionistas, but time is just flying. I have not reviewed my Lip Monthly Subscription bags for quite a while, so I thought I would let you know what was in each consecutive bag for 3 months!

So here it is, be prepared for loads of swatches and pouts.
So what is Lip Monthly? It is a monthly subscription bag from the US at a cost of around US$10 each, plus $5 postage to Australia.

This is what it says on the website:

We Search For the Best in Lip Products!

Every month LipMonthly’s experts travel across the country to find the best products in retail stores, so you don’t have to. We will bring you the best deals on the market, in our beautifully designed packaged bags. All that’s left for you to do is try them on!

A Unique Experience Each Month

You Choose your Duration:
1 Month, 4 Month or Annual

Whether you love Lip Gloss, Lip Stick, Lip Balm or Lip Stain, we’ll send you a curated box filled with all of the above every month, so you don’t have to worry about replacing them each month!

For any of you out there, that are lipstick addicts like myself, this is the subscription you have to have. I have been able to try products that are not available to Australia, or if they are available here, they are much more expensive than the US$10 that it costs for the whole bag. I totally recommend it.

Each month, there has been a different cosmetic bag, and each one is supercute.

Total value according to Lip Monthly : US$61.95

My favourites this month?

To be honest, I wasn’t too fussed on any of the lip products this month. I have more than enough pinks in my lipstick drawer, but if I have to chose a favourite product,  I really like the highlighting pencil: Use it on the cupids bow, on the eyebrow bone, a very versatile product!

Lip Monthly Bag October

lip monthly october 15

  • JCat lipstick in Miami Red, US$2.99, not available in Australia
  • Lord & Berry Lip Crayon in Sensuel, US$ 16, not available in Australia
  • Hikari Crayon in Mandarin, US$14, not available in Australia
  • Pencil Me In, US$6.99, not available in Australia

I am so much happier with this bag than last months. My favourite product this month is the Hikari pencil in Mandarin. Love the feel and look of this crayon, it is a soft lovely orange, bound to be one of my favourites.

The Lord & Berry Crayon is a winner, a lovely creamy soft pencil from a nice range from Italy.

I also love the brown little make up bag. These bags are getting cuter and cuter!

Lip Monthly Bag November

Lip Monthly November 15

  • Ofra Lipstick Mina, US$19.90, not available in Australia
  • Mirabella Red Velvet Lip Pencil, US$25, not available in Australia
  • Beauty For Real Lip gloss, US$22, not available in Australia
  • Chapstick 24 hour dual ended Hydration Lock. Price unknown.

I don’t want to sound gushy, but the November bag? SPOT ON! Super cute little bag, containing 4 great products. I don’t even know where to start. In love with the deep berry of the Ofra liquid lipstick. ( I own a nude as well, and it is just as nice!).

The Mirabella Red Velvet Lip pencil, is EXACTLY that: a fabulous red colour with a velvet finish. in love.

The Beauty For Real Lipgloss is plumping with a cooling mint flavour. It has a light in side the lid and a mirror on the case. Love it.

With all those colours, and a lot of them are matte, the Chapstick is a very welcome addition. Protect with a sunscreen for day, and nourishing for night. Genius!

So after a slightly disappointing September bag, October and November more than made up for it. I will continue with the bags as long as I have room to store all those gorgeous lippies.
