Hello gorgeous Fashionistas!
Wow. Did that month just fly past? It was so much fun having so many lovelies join me in the challenge, some of them did not miss a day this month! Read on to see the final 2 weeks and the winner of the competition!
The scary thing is, I could have kept going. I have more lippies to probably do another month, but by now I think my readers are getting sick of my face, so we will leave that one alone.
Again, as explained in my post about the first 2 weeks, a new lippy is the easiest and cheapest way to treat yourself and change or update your look. We tend to buy lipsticks and not use them. USE THEM. Before they go off.
In fact, I have come across 2 of my lipsticks that ended up in the bin (it killed me, I am a collector!) because they had very clearly gone off. They had separated and smelled rank. Coincidentally these were both liquids with a sponge tip applicator. Solid lipsticks were fine.
So here are my last 2 weeks of lippies…
That is enough of my face.
There have been some beautiful faces joining me everyday, and the plan was to list some of my favourites below. However. There were so many that it is impossible to pick, it would take me days. (there were a total of 754 entries!)
As blog posts come about, I will list them here for everyone to see.
Eloïse from Mind Body Mood wrote about the challenge HERE. Check out her stunning photos.
Beth from Almost Posh wrote about the Challenge HERE. I love Beths sense of humour, go check her blog out.
The easiest way is to search for the hashtag #30lippiesfor30days on instagram and voilá. Great lippy after great lippy.
Just to refresh the memory: Here is the great prize for a lucky fashionista.
- Rimmel Nude Collection in Rose Nude 45 – a pinky nude
- MAC Patent Polish Lip Pencil in Sultana – deep berry plum
- Maybelline Baby Lips in Lychee Addict – lip balm with a hint of colour
- Rimmel long Lasting Finish by Kate Kiss of Life 222 – the perfect red
- Maybelline New Rebel Bloom Coral Burst740 – Gorgeous bright pastel coral
- W7 Neon Purple – punky purple
- Rimmel Long Lasting Finish in Sugar Plum – a plummy pink
Every lipstick selfie earned one entry. On day 25, it was Bright Pink Lipstick day, so there was an extra entry available for anyone who wore a pink lippy for genetic breast cancer awareness.
I engaged an online Random Number Generator, see below. I set it to pick a number between 1 and 754 (total of entries) and number 323 got picked.
On my list of entries, number 323 corresponded with the following Instagram name:
Holly has been notified and will receive her prize in the mail soon.
If you played along, thank you and hope you enjoyed. I wish I had prizes for all of you, but alas, it is not to be.
Loved seeing your photos.
Til next time,
