Around the World Blog Hop

My very lovely Instagram Friend Sarah from Stay at Home Territory has tagged me in an Around The World Blog Hop.

Now, this is the first time I have participated in anything like this, but it sounds fun, and it is 12:12AM and who needs sleep.

So, as far as I can see, it is a way to share the blog love and let your readers get to know you a little better.

Thanks Sarah! Love your work! So from the top of Australia to good old Sydney town on the East Coast.

Here goes:

1. What am I working on?

I am excited to start a new blogging course next week with the Drop Dead Gorgeous team called Secret Bloggers Business. I am starting to prepare for this, and I swear, I have learned so much already, just by being on the same FB forum with previous students.

I have done another course before, and even though I know I have learned from it, there is always room for more. And I have very famous blog fellow students, that obviously believe you never stop learning too. Get ready for some brand new stuff on my blog.

Bring it on!

2. How does your work differ from others of its genre.

Gosh. I think I am different because I have a genuine love of sharing. I want to share my bargains, or how I put my outfits together or how to get some kick ass brows. I have always shared these things with whomever wanted to know, and some who didn’t really want to know but didn’t have a choice. So, this is on a more public scale.

I love a bargain, and you will find Kmart bargains mixed with high end pieces!

I also think my blog is a little different, because I am not just a fashion or a beauty blogger, I am a bit of everything! Just don’t ask me for cooking tips, ’cause you ain’t gettin’ them!

3. Why do I create/write what I do?

See above. I like to share. I am also a bit of an exhibitionist, and this satisfies my needs. 🙂

4. How does my creating/writing process work?

I carry a little note book with me, to jot down ideas at the weirdest times. I scour the internet and get ideas from blogs from all over the world to get inspiration. I buy too many magazines that I don’t have time to read. That is just my inspiration part.

I usually get the urge to write late at night: yep at midnight, so here I am.

So what is next?

I am tagging the lovely blogger Kristina from The Feminine Files . She is a machine! She has 2 little ones, and still manages to review lot of great beauty products that I wished we had in Australia. She is always gracious and leaves lots of lovely feedback. She is in New Hampshire in USA.

I am also tagging a young blogger, Shannon. All the way from Amsterdam, Holland. She has a love for fashion, travel and a bit of cooking.

Her blog is called The Travel Recipe. She also happen to be my niece. Blogging runs in the family!

So, I have been terribly late writing this post, and I haven’t actually asked these two lovelies. So hopefully they will agree and pass the Blog around the world on!

Check out their blogs next Monday to see their answers to the above questions.

Til next time,

  1. Love it! Hopefully I can share my blog and fashion treasures from my new home in Abu Dhabi soon!!!

  2. So I’m embarrassed to say that I’m only just continuing my blog hop now. A kid with a Broken bone, surgeries and attempting to blog are making this mama a bit run down. I’m so pleased you’re enjoying your blog course. Your site is looking great. Much love, S x
